Parks & Recreation

Parks and Recreation Overview

The City of Belen Department of Parks and Recreation promotes a healthy quality of life for residents of Belen and Valencia count. We collaborate with other organizations to provide new, fun, safe, and organized programs and events for all ages.

These services and programs strengthen the mental, emotional and physical health of our residents. The Parks and Recreation staff works with five goals in mind: Promote, Coordinate, Facilitate, Provide, and Serve.
