Westside Pond Update

Construction is complete on all earthworks on Westside Pond with fencing to be installed this week  A substantial walkthrough is tentatively scheduled for this Thursday, February 9th.

New School Flashers Installed

We are happy to announce that new school flashers have been installed on Main. The City was able to budget monies this fiscal year for replaced of the old ones. Safety is a priority for the children of our community. 

Delgado Roadway Improvements

The ongoing project to improve Delgado Road has reached another milestone. The paving project of Delgado and 10th street has been completed.

Belen City Hall Reopening

PUBLIC NOTICE City Hall will be reopening with limited parking lot access off of Becker Avenue on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. With all City Hall Administrative Offices resuming normal function, including water bill payments and drop box payments, along with City Council and Planning & Zoning meetings as posted. We appreciate your patience during the construction and closure.

Street Closure: Delgado Jan. 12 & 13

Delgado will be closed due to paving Thursday & Friday starting at 9:00am. Universal Waste will be picking up their trash around 7:00 am tomorrow Jan. 12th, please have your carts out before 7:00am.

The City Hall Closure has been extended from Monday, December 12, 2022 through the end of December, with a tentative re-opening in early January 2023. Well 8 Arsenic Treatment Facility

***UPDATE*** The Well 8 Arsenic Treatment Facility is 95% complete. There is a scheduled Start-up/Shakedown on October 31st with substantial completion due by mid-November.
