The City of Belen staff continue to work diligently, to assure the safety and wellbeing of our residents and visitors.
We continue to work with all partnering agencies and stake holders to stay ahead of the monsoon rain.
Heavy rain is expected through at least Wednesday. Please help us by preparing your home and family ahead of time.
Don Luis Trujillo is washed out near drainage culverts. Please avoid driving in this area until repairs are made.
Be advised that Monsoon Season has begun and heavy rains are expected, this afternoon (6/17/2022) through early next week (6/21/2022). Please prepare for flash flooding early. Empty Sand Bags (Limit 10) are available for pickup at Belen City Hall and the Belen Fire Department.
Free Sand is available for pick up at the following locations:
Vivian Fields – 1112 S. Main St.
Impala Dr. – Across the street from the Water Department
Old Belen Fire Station – S. 6th Street
