The Belen Public Library, in collaboration with the Belen Art League and the Pastel Society of New Mexico, is excited to present a hands-on afternoon of art, creativity, and community on Saturday, July 26 at the historic red brick building at 513 Becker Avenue.

Enjoy a fascinating slide presentation by accomplished pastel artist Nicholas Tesluc, as he shares techniques, inspiration, and the beauty of working in soft pastels.

1:00 – 2:00 PM
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and create! Join pastel artist Susan Brook for a hands-on demonstration. All materials will be provided, so just bring your curiosity and creativity!

This event is free to attend and suitable for ages 12 and up. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this is a great opportunity to explore a vibrant art medium in a supportive and fun setting.
