The Belen Fire Department will be opening up the Training Room in the Firestation at 121 S. 5th St. for residents to use as a cooling station. There is extreme heat projected for today and the health and safety of our residents is a top priority.
The room is open to anyone needing to cool off; however, residents who are elderly, have a disability, or care for young children should consider using this resource if they are without access to a cool environment.
The Cooling Station will be open from Noon – 5pm.
