City of Belen Community Preservation would like to thank everyone who participated in the summer clean up with the dumpsters. We were able to help the community remove much unwanted debris over the past three weeks. Our dumpsters have reached their limit . We will be closing the gates at 2 pm August 24th. We apologize if we could not accommodate anyone this event, we will be looking into providing more events like this in the future.
Thank you Belen!
The City of Belen’s Community Preservation Department will have three 30-foot dumpsters available to Belen residents for FREE disposal of any unwanted garbage or debris. The dumpsters will be first-come-first-served although they are scheduled to be emptied and replaced through the availability period.
They will be available from August 7th – August 25th, Monday through Friday from 9am – 4pm at 925 N Main St. in Belen.
Please do not overfill the dumpsters, this prevents the cover guard from working properly when exchanging dumpsters. Also, make sure that all trash and debris are disposed into the dumpster and not on the ground around it.
Absolutely NO construction debris or liquid wastes such as oil or any other chemicals may be disposed of. The dumpsters are available for our residents to use as many times as they need to during this period.
We give special thanks to Universal Waste Services for their generous donation of the use of their dumpsters.
Thank you from the Community Preservation Department and the City of Belen for working to make our community a cleaner and safer place to live!
