The City of Belen’s Wastewater Treatment Plan received the 2022 Good Housekeeping Award for Activated Sludge Treatment Plant 20 Years & Older from the New Mexico Water & Wastewater Association. The Wastewater Crew does a GREAT job on maintaining and operating a facility that is actually 41 years old.
