This year’s Summer Reading Program theme is “Color Our World.” Summer Reading will run from June 2^nd to July 31st.  We invite children up to age 12 to embark on a journey of art and creativity, celebrating the myriad ways in which art enriches our lives.  Our program is designed to inspire and engage readers through a diverse array of artistic expressions.

Sign up for the program begins May 22^nd online or at our Open House.  There will be activities every week for kids up to age 12 to enjoy…some messy and outside on our new patio.

We will be using kites as our reading logs for this year.  Each child wishing to participate in our reading program can decorate their kite and display it in our room.  Every five “bows” added to the kite’s tail will give thema prize from the treasure chest.  On July 31^st we will have an end of the summer party for the whole family with treats.  Prizes will be dispersed by choice starting with the participant that read the most books and going from there.  Participating is key because reading is the best part of our summer program.
