Award Components:
One (1) $500 scholarship awarded to one (1) high school senior who meet Award Criteria and who is selected by the Belen Art League (BAL) Scholarship Committee. Scholarship Awards shall be issued to recipient’s college, university, or trade school of the student’s choice and not personally to the award recipient.
Criteria:
1. Applicants must be a high school senior and currently enrolled in Belen High School, Infinity High or an Open Home Schooled Senior.
2. Applicants must reside within the Belen area School District.
3. Applicants must submit a completed application packet, on or before the deadline date of Friday, May 17, 2024 which includes:
a) Completed application with short essay
b) A letter of recommendation, and
c) An original piece of artwork by the student.
Applicants must submit their completed application packet with original artwork to the BAL Gallery during normal operating hours on or before Friday, May 17, 2024. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered for the scholarship award.
