Utility and Service Rates

The city utility bill contains the following charges for services provided by the City of Belen:

• Water usage
• Sewer usage
• Solid waste curbside pickup

• Citywide mosquito spraying

Sewer rates are determined based on your winter water usage between November 1 and February 28 of each year. To save money on your utility bill, residents and businesses are reminded to reduce your water use during these months.

Always monitor your utility bill for unusually high use. A significant increase in the cost of your bill could mean you have a water leak on your property.
