The first ever "New Mexico Code
Enforcement Summit" will feature a half day of presentations
and panel discussions covering maintenance issues for
properties in default and information about the default
mortgage servicing industry processes. In addition, a
discussion on the social issues and impact on
owners/occupants will be discussed as they pertain to both
foreclosure and non-foreclosure properties. Also included
are criminal nuisance issues and current legislation to
address such assets.
The Summit will give city, county, planning, zoning and code
enforcement officials and professionals the opportunity to
connect with both field service professionals and real
estate brokers dedicated to working together to quickly
address code violations on vacant properties and other
maintenance issues. There will also be a discussion about
the legislative guidelines applicable to lenders and field
service companies as well as an examination of the laws
specific to New Mexico municipalities, both city and rural. |
