RESOLUTION PROVIDING NOTICE OF THE CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE, DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES, APPOINTING THE PRECINCT BOARD MEMBERS, AND NOTICE OF ELECTION TRAINING FOR PRECINCT BOARDS FOR THE MARCH 6, 2012 ELECTION.

The City of Belen, in connection with the regular municipal election to be held on March 6, 2012 and pursuant to 3-8-30 NMSA 1978:

A.           Notice is hereby given that the following qualified electors are candidates for public office of the City of Belen.

1.                  FOR THE OFFICE OF (2) COUNCILOR(S) FOR A FOUR YEAR TERM:

                           Audrey D. Torres

                           A. Terese “Tinky” Ulivarri

                           Wayne R. Gallegos

                           Dubra K. Padilla

                           David J. Carter

B.            Notice is hereby given that the following polling places shall be used for the conduct of the regular municipal election to be held on March 6, 2012:

1.         Voters in Precincts 23, 25, 27, and 31 within the municipal boundary shall vote at the Belen Community Center located at 101 Eagle Lane, Belen, NM  87002.

2.         Voters in Precincts 21, 26, and 35 within the municipal boundary shall vote at the Belen Public Library located at 333 Becker Ave., Belen, NM  87002.

3.         Voters in the absent/early voter precinct will vote at the Office of the Municipal Clerk located at 100 South Main St., Belen, NM  87002.

C.            The following Precinct Board members have been appointed:

D.  Notice is hereby given that a Precinct Board Election Training will be held on the 28^th day of February, 2012 at the Belen City Hall Chambers located at 100 South Main St., Belen, NM  87002.  The training will begin at 6:00 P.M.  The training is open to the public.

AVISO DE NOMBRES DE CANDIDATOS PARA CARGOS PUBLICOS;

DESIGNACION DE LOCALES PARA VOTAR; MIEMBROS DE LA JUNTA DIRECTIVA DEL RECINTO; Y AVISO SOBRE LA CAPACITACION

PARA LA JUNTA DIRECTIVA DEL RECINTO, Y AVISO DEL ENTRENAMIENTO DE LA ELECCION PARA LA ELECCION DEL 6 DE MARZO DE 2012.

Ciudad de Belen con respecto a la elección municipal regular que se llevará a cabo el 6 de marzo de 2012 y de acuerdo con 3-8-30 NMSA 1978:

A.  Por medio de la presente se da noticia que los siguientes electores calificados son candidatos para puestos públicos de la Ciudad de Belen. Los nombres de los candidatos aparecen en la orden que figuraran en la balota según determinado por sorteo.

B.  Por medio de la presente se da noticia que los seguientes locales para votar se usarán para la elección municipal regular que se llevara a cabo el 6 de marzo de 2012.

1.  Los votantes en los recintos 23, 25, 27, y 31 dentro del límite municipal votarán en el centro de comunidad de Belen situado en el carril de 101 águilas, Belen, nanómetro 87002.

2.  Los votantes en los recintos 21, 26, y 35 dentro del límite municipal votarán en la biblioteca pública de Belen situada en la avenida de 333 Becker., Belen, nanómetro 87002

3.  Los votantes en el ausente/recinto del votante votarán temprano en la oficina del vendedor municipal situado en St. del sur de la cañería 100, Belen, nanómetro 87002.

D.  El aviso se da por este medio que llevarán a cabo a un tablero del recinto entrenamiento de la elección en el 28vo cuarto día del febrero de 2012 en los compartimientos de pasillo de ciudad de Belen situados en el St. del sur de la cañería 100, Belen, nanómetro 87002.  El entrenamiento comenzará en 6:00 P.M.  El entrenamiento está abierto al público.
